The BC898T Trunk-Tracker III is a 500 channel (ten bank) scanner. With the Trunk-Tracker™ System you can search, lock-on and track a conversation, even if the channel changes between replies. Supported trunk systems include: Motorola Type I, Type II, Type IIi, Hybrid, SMARTNET™, and PRIVACYPLUS™, LTR trunking systems; EDACS trunking systems (including EDACS SCAT).

There are 17 preprogrammed bands. Scan at 100 channels per second. Other features include: LCD dimmer, S-indicator, channel lockout, count key, manual tuning knob, weather alert, auto-store and ten priority channels. The BC-898T even has built-in CTCSS/DCS decode.

Jacks for: antenna (BNC), external speaker, record line output, auxiliary jack, 12 VDC power and PC port. Includes telescoping whip antenna, AC adapter, and Operating Guide.

Size is 10.5 x 3.5 x 7.375 inches.
