If you have a CB mic with a different pin configuration than your radio, you may have considered re-wiring the mic to match the radio. This is a good option, but if you would rather avoid soldering a new plug, you can also try a CB microphone adapter. A mic adapter will accept a CB mic in one end and convert it to a different pin configuration on the other end.
We have several configurations available (selectable above):
- C4P4M - Converts 4 Pin Midland Mic to 4 Pin Standard Cobra/Uniden
- C4P5C - Converts 4 Pin Standard Cobra/Uniden Mic to 5 Pin Cobra
- C4P5DIN - Converts 4 Pin Standard Cobra/Uniden Mic to 5 Pin DIN Realistic (Radio Shack)
- C4PDF6 - Converts 4 Pin Standard Cobra/Uniden Mic to 6 Pin Uniden Radios (BC680, BC880, and BC980SSB) and 6 Pin President Radios
- C4PHR5C - Converts 4 Pin Standard Cobra/Uniden Mic to 5 Pin HR2510 Radio
- C4PRCI6 - Converts 4 Pin Standard Cobra/Uniden Mic to 6 Pin RCI and 6 Pin Cobra® Radios
- C5P4C - Converts 5 Pin Cobra® Mic to 4 Pin Standard Cobra/Uniden
Please note that all of these adapters are sold individually. The image above uses two to show both sides of the plug.
